South West

Adult Learners' Week in the South West is coordinated by Sue Edwards (sue_edwards@learning-southwest.org.uk or 01823 347952) and Naomi Harris (naomi_harris@learning-southwest.org.uk or 01823 347951).

There are many ways to get involved in Adult Learners' Week in the South West region:

  • Nominating learners to an Adult Learners' Week Award

The awards are a great way to give extraordinary learners the recognition they deserve. There are four main awards categories available: Individuals, Groups, Families and Opening Doors (projects). Find out more about the Learning awards here.
  • Holding an event

Organising events during Adult Learners' Week is an excellent way to engage people and get them involved in learning activities. There are a range of resources available to support your activities. Contact Sue or Naomi for more information about organising activities during the Week.
  • Sponsoring awards, resources or events

Sponsoring a regional Adult Learners' Week award is a fantastic way for organisations to promote themselves and the areas of work that are important to them, whilst celebrating learners who have achieved in these areas.

To find out more about opportunities in the region, contact the Regional Coordinators for the South West, Sue or Naomi.
