Yorkshire and The Humber
Adult Learners’ Week in Yorkshire and the Humber saw a range of engaging activities taking place across the area throughout the week.
One of the highlights was the Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Award Ceremony, held at Leeds United Banqueting Suite, which celebrated the achievements of Adult Learners’ Week Award Winners from the region . Awards were presented by TV personality and author, Ian Clayton.

Other activities included:
- 92 Learning at Work Day events, supported by unionlearn. These included activities at train stations, bus depots and councils across the region, as well as taster sessions hosted at organisations such as United Biscuits, Royal Mail and Primark. Find out more.
- An Ethics in Islam Seminar held at Bradford Central Library
- A Health and Social Care event at Havercroft & Community Learning Centre; and
- An open day at Children and Family Action in Hornsea.
