Adult Learners' Week Awards in the London region

The regional Adult Learners’ Week Awards Ceremony in London took place on 12 May at the Museum of London in Docklands, where over 160 attendees celebrated the outstanding achievements of adult learners.
Over twenty learners and groups where presented with their awards and a further twenty learners received their certificates of achievement.
Along with the NIACE awards for individuals, groups and projects, special awards were sponsored and presented by:
- Birkbeck College (Access to HE)
- Pro-Active Partnerships (Learning through Sport)
- Linking London (Success in the Face of Adversity)
- West London Lifelong Learning Network (Higher Level Vocational Learner of the Year)
- University of London School of Oriental and African Studies - SOAS (Language Learning)
- London South Bank University (Learning in the Community)
- Skills and Learning for London Partnership (Non-Accredited Learning)
- SERTUC Unionlearn (Learning through the Unions)
- OCN London Region (OCN Winner)
- European Social Fund (Individual Award)
- Learning and Skills Council (Learning Works)
