How to Nominate

Inspiring Learning Project nominations

The Inspiring Learning Projects Awards recognise innovative projects that are improving access to adult learning.

Adult Learners’ Week Award winners are powerful role models to other adults who want to make a change to their lives. Recognising and publicising their achievements inspires others to fulfil their potential by learning, either informally or formally.

When you nominate your project for an Adult Learners’ Week Award you are:

  • Recognising your organisation’s commitment to learning
  • Acknowledging the innovative way that your project has delivered new learning opportunities
  • Celebrating the positive impact that your project has had on the lives of the people involved

Nominations for the 2012 Adult Learners’ Week awards open in October 2011, and forms can be submitted online, by email or by post; register your interest now and receive information about the awards and nomination process.

Everyone nominated will receive a certificate of achievement. Winners will receive a learning voucher valued between £200 and £1000 and are invited to the National and Regional Award ceremonies that take place during Adult Learners' Week (12 – 18 May 2012).

Additional awards, sponsored by a range of high-profile organisations, are also presented at the National Award Ceremony and will be confirmed at a later date.

Please note: All award categories are open to learners living in England only.
