About Adult Learners' Week
Adult Learners’ Week is a national celebration of lifelong learning, encompassing the Adult Learners’ Week awards, “have a go” taster events, parliamentary reception, and other activities such as a national policy conference. The Week is now in its 23rd year and we are really proud that it has inspired international Adult Learner’s Week celebrations across the world.
We hope you will join us in celebrating adult learning and be inspired to take part – here are just some of the activities we have planned.
Festival of Learning
May 2014 will see the start of our festival of learning – for adults, families, communities and employers. This will culminate in Adult Learners’ Week during 14 - 20 June. It will encompass activities such as Learning at Work Day, VQ Day and Volunteers’ Week.
Have a go activities will be held by providers of all shapes and sizes- you can find out more about what events are happening near you by visiting our online events calendar.
If you are holding events to celebrate Adult Learners Week you can upload them to our online events calendar.
