Adult Learners’ Week celebrates the positive impact learning has on individuals, families and communities with events and award ceremonies held across the country:
- National and regional awards recognise the achievements of outstanding individuals and inspiring learning projects across England.
- Events take place in thousands of locations showcasing the learning opportunities that you have to offer and motivating adults in your area to take part in learning activities. Link your events to the national activity by using Adult Learners’ Week themes.
- Get involved in Adult Learners’ Week 2012 and be part of the media and advocacy activity created by this festival, raising awareness of this important issue.
Adult Learners’ Week includes the following national events:
- Monday 14 May: Adult Learners’ Week National Award Ceremony
- Tuesday 15 May: National Policy Conference
- Wednesday 16 May: Adult Learners' Week Parliamentary Reception
- Thursday 17 May: Learning at Work Day
